JAI BALA GANESHA

In Kerala mural painting, the popular god Bal Ganesha is portrayed in a variety of artistic ways. Ganesha, the Hindu deity of knowledge, wealth, and fortune, is also known by his childlike form, Bal Ganesha. Bal Ganesha is frequently seen in Kerala mural art with an elephant head, a big belly, and a mouse or rat at his feet. He is frequently seen with a goad that he used to lead his ride, a rat, and his broken tusk, which he used to scribe the Hindu scriptures.
